Latest News — Durham City Ladies FC – Open Training Days
Durham City Ladies Football Club is offering new players the opportunity to attend two open training days in July. The open training days will take place at Houghton Kepier School on Sunday 5th July from 12 noon until 2pm, and the event will be repeated at the same times on Sunday 12th July.
Durham City Ladies FC plays in the North East Regional Women’s Football League, with matches being played on Sunday afternoons. The club has achieved Charter Standard Status and is committed to developing both its players and its coaching staff.
In the season just ended Durham City Ladies FC narrowly missed out on promotion, finishing second in the league. The club is looking to build on last season’s excellent team performance, and is keen to hear from any new players who may be interested in joining the club.
Prospective players are asked to contact team manager Gemma Charlton on 07929 503 477 to register their interest. The open training days are free of charge, but players must be over the age of 16 in order to take part.
